Our homework day is Friday. 

Homework will be sent home every Friday. Children will return this the following Friday and receive a raffle ticket for completing it and share it with their class.

Children will receive: 

1 x English or Maths piece of homework (alternating each week)

Daily reading:

1. Oxford Owl Online Read Write Inc Story
This is an e-book which is assigned as your child progresses through their Phonics lessons to match their exact decoding level. A new book will be assigned each time your child transitions to a new story book in their group lessons (usually every 4-5 days).

Oxford Owl reading log ins were sent home on the first week back at school in September. If you have misplaced yours, please let me know and I will happily give you these details again.

2. Reading For Pleasure
A reading for pleasure book is sent home every Monday. This book may not match your child’s exact Phonics level but gives them an opportunity to be exposed to different vocabulary and share this with your guidance.
